After coping the award for Best News Photo for the year 2006, at the fourth annual Photo and Video Image awards, hosted by the association of Media Photographers of Trinidad and Tobago (AMPOTT) after being back on the job for only one month within the qualifying period in 2006.

Kenrick followed it up the following year winning at the fifth annual awards with a sweep of  four first place finishes and two second places culminating in him winning the Digicel sponsored Photographer of the Year award for 2007.

Kenrick is involved in all aspects of photography; he has many years of experience in Weddings, Portraits, Boudoir, Nudes, Events, Photojournalism; Media; News and Press, including Video and Still/Digital photography, with a particular specialization in Editorial photography. 

 Kenrick is currently working on his first book of nudes.
